But they're not Amish.
This is Little Miss White Diamonds, my first experiment with eggshell hoops. She and her friends are about 1 1/2 inches tall, perfect for a photoshoot in the pansy patch.
My second hoopskirt girl is Little Miss Younger Than Springtime. She is my especial favorite, because of her green skirt and curly hair.
This diminutive fellow wants to dance. He doesn't really have a name, so if any of you folks have a good one, I would sure like to know.
Here is Little Miss Chokecherry Pie. She's not very sweet, and a bit of a loner. She dreams of starting her own band called Black & Blue, but so far she hasn't found anyone who wants to streak their hair and wear historic clothing.
Hmmmm......... so many options.

I like those faceless dolls, I just might have to try and make one!
Yeah, you saw how, and you are very detail-oriented, so I think you would do well.
Hannah, she is so cute! I love her bob! I'm sure Anna will just adore her!
Ive never really been into faceless dolls, or dolls at all for that matter....hmmm..maybe it's cuz i'm a boy, or does sex really matter, i know a guy who used to play with dolls(past tense)
You are so creative Hannah. Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly are they made out of???
Well, first I break an egg, then cover the blunt end with polymer clay, which makes the skirt. Then I add the little details: bodice, head, arms, and hair. After baking it in the oven, I chip away what I can of the eggshell, and it makes a nice little hoopskirt.
How about the name for the guy can be...Not-So-Little Mr. Dance-around? Not a very good one, but at least a name.
