I took the GED!

Hooray! I'm so glad to be done! And it really wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

Lookee!

Yessir, a happy day indeed. I am now "officially" a high school graduate. It's a good feeling, knowing that I've completed a twelve-year endeavor. I'm also very thankful for my parents who decided to educate me at home. It's so great to look back on those days of copying rules, taking tests, learning facts, sobbing through math, and writing papers, and knowing that it all paid off in the end.
The diploma doesn't really mean that much to me other than to signify that, every time an impossible equation stared my quaking self in the face, there really was hope at the end.
I'm so happy that many of the dearest people in my life were able to come and celebrate our graduation with us. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Thanks, everybody, for making this time so memorable!
